Our Publications

7 Mar 2009

In this section, check the analyses and contents that have been produced by SPW in the human rights and sexual and reproductive rights fields, analyzing polices on sexuality and challenges in different contexts around the world.

The first material is the e-book “SexPolitics: Reports from the Front Lines”, the outcome of a project launched by SPW in 2004: a transnational, cross-cultural research initiative that we hoped would capture some dynamics of sexual politics in our time. Research was performed in eight countries – Brazil, Egypt, India, Peru, Poland, South Africa, Turkey, and Vietnam – and in relation to two global institutions, the United Nations and the World Bank.

The second content is the serial of Working Papers produced by SPW’s members and partners, aiming to analyze relevant sexuality policy arenas and episodes evident in different regions.

The last one is the SPW’s newsletter that has been sent each four months highlighting the main global and local episodes involving sexuality and politics, religion and economics, as well as ongoing advocacy work related to sexuality/sexual rights, projects that connect art and sexuality. The SPW’s newsletter also disseminates call for papers, scholarships, publications and upcoming events associated to sexuality.
