More than 1,000 sex workers participated at the Sex Worker Freedom Festival, in India

1 Aug 2012

Though sex workers weren’t even permitted to participate, they managed to take a stand at the International AIDS Conference, which took place in USA, from 22nd to 27th July 2012.

At the same time, more than 1,000 sex workers from different nations convened in Kolkata, India, for the “Sex Worker Freedom Festival”, an alternative event for the International AIDS Conference.
