Advancing the Human Rights and Inclusion of LGBT People: A Handbook for Parliamentarians

The Chinese version of the Advancing the Human Rights and Inclusion of LGBT People: A Handbook for Parliamentarians has been jointly produced by the United Nations Development Programme and Parliamentarians for Global Action and it has been recently released. The translation and edition to the Chinese version were produced by UNDP China. This handbook will serve as a key resource for the planning and engagement strategy of Being LGBTI in Asia.

The Handbook was originally developed by UNDP New York in partnership with the Parliamentarians for Global Action, and was launched at the Seminar on Equality and Non-Discrimination based on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity for Parliamentarians of Latin America and the Caribbean hosted by the Parliament of Uruguay in Montevideo on 11 July 2016.

The Handbook is currently available in English, Spanish, Thai and Vietnamese.
