Research for Sex Work is a peer-reviewed international journal that incorporates community-led research and lived experiences, and reports on sex work within a rights-based framework. NSWP Is seeking contributions that document and reflect on sex workers’ resistance and resilience to various forms of oppression.
Sex workers experience legal, social, and political oppression, and yet the global movement is thriving. The fight to end all forms of oppression and have sex work recognised as work is on-going. NSWP would like to showcase sex work resilience from the perspectives of sex workers, sex workers’ rights activists, sex worker-led organisations and sex work programme implementers.
NSWP welcome different types of articles, including community-led research findings and recommendations, narratives about rights-based sex work projects or programmes, and reflections on sex work and sex worker organising.
Abstracts can be no longer than 300 words. Submissions must be in English but phtographic montages that tell a story will also be considered. The final article must be no longer than 1200 words.
